Dave and Kathy Thomas

Dave and Kathy Thomas moved to the Central Coast in 1991 from the Bay Area at the "word of the Lord to Dave" and " the word of the Lord to Kathy" on a subsequent and separate occasion as the Lord Himself designed for each of us. "Jesus the resurected man is a hands on leader and every believer is uniquely His own".
Dave continued to work as a Locomotive Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad upon arrival at Nipomo. Kathy was occupied with our four children most of her time.
Having attended church regularly in the bay area since 1981 they quickly found a home church and fellowship at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Nipomo with Jeff Eggers who was the Pastor at the time.
In late 1992 a small group of the Lighthouse leadership (Jeff Eggers, Rick Allen, and Rick Taylor) transitioned to Santa Maria Vineyard. Dave and Kathy accompanied them (Mostly in secret and hiddeness).
Dave was teaching Sunday school at Santa Maria Vineyard until January of 1994. In September 1994 Dave was part of a ministry team that served at a John Wimber Conference in Manchester England led by Ralph Kucera.
Dave met Terry and Denise Page in Manchester and connected with them upon their arrival to the Central Coast of California as they transitioned from the Five Cities Vineyard to become the Burn Vineyard and then Mercy Church in San Luis Obispo. (Mostly in secret and hiddeness.)
Sometime in 2001 Jeff Eggers returned to the Central Coast for 2 years and Dave attended friendship and fellowship in his activities (Mostly in secret and brokeness.)
These activities included:
Jeff moved to Kansas City in 2003 and Dave began regular visits to IHOP-KC. Dave and Kathy remained active in church family attendance at Mercy Church, while joining a small group of intercessors and house of prayer enthusiasts under the leadership of Mark Perry in September 2003.
Dave and Kathy inherited leadership of the team that was called Central Coast House of Prayer in mid 2006 from Mark Perry.
In late 2006 Dave and Kathy moved the team and sessions to the fellowship hall of the Santa Maria Vineyard. In December 2007 the team was released for a one month break and then reformed for a short time before Dave's departure to Kansas City at the end of March, 2008.
Dave attended the IHOP-KC Commission at Kansas City IHOP from March 30, 2008 through June 30,2008.
Dave returned from Kansas City in July of 2008 and in September initiated a small re-start at the Santa Maria Vineyard. By year end 2008 we were Incorporated at a new location with the name Central Coast International House of Prayer. On January 1, 2009 we dedicated a small multi congregational prayer room in Santa Maria.
Since September, 2003 Dave and Kathy have been pouring oil on the global prayer movement aligning our hearts with Jesus in His plan to return to the earth, and flowing in the dream of God for a night and day house of prayer on the Central Coast of California.
